Ryan “Gus” Roberts

I find what is about to break in a business, before it does.

Ryan Roberts: fighter pilot, sailing the Caribbean, and at work today
I think of businesses the way I once thought of aircraft and weapons systems.

They fail in patterns, and the patterns are foreseeable. I spent twenty years flying for the Air Force, then led teams that modeled systems risk for the Department of Defense alongside the largest defense primes.

After the service I built and sold a defense contracting firm, most of it while living on a sailboat in the Caribbean and raising my daughter across thirteen countries. Same engineering discipline, different arena.

Now I build the diagnostics that read both a business and the people running it, advise leadership teams, and coach the executives carrying the most weight. The work still starts the same way: find where the structure will not hold, and reinforce it before it does.

Freedom is not wished for. It is engineered.
